Planning days
Quarterly planning on-site with the leadership team.
I'm a fractional CMO based in Sydney, working with founder-led businesses across the city: renovation builders, an architecture practice, fintech, events and franchise brands. Most weeks run remote, with on-site days for planning, leadership meetings and shoots. You get a senior marketing leader who knows the Sydney market, for a fraction of a full-time CMO.

Years of experience
Sydney businesses I run marketing for, or have.
Sydney has no shortage of agencies. What most founder-led businesses here lack is someone senior who sits above the agencies, sets the plan and answers for the number. A full-time CMO in Sydney costs $300k or more all in, which is out of reach until a business is well past $20M.
So the founder ends up doing marketing at night, or hands it to a junior and an agency with nobody directing either. A fractional CMO fills that gap for the years between founder-led marketing and a full team.
Day to day I work in your tools and on your Slack or WhatsApp. On-site time goes where being in the room matters: the quarterly planning day, leadership meetings, sales team sessions, and shoot days, where I direct the creative and Content Department, my Sydney studio, films and photographs it.
For Arbor Building that meant shooting on their job sites, turning the footage into Meta ads and landing pages, and reading the pipeline in HubSpot every week. See the Arbor case study.
Construction and renovation (Arbor Building), architecture and design (NBRS), fintech (Basiq, through its acquisition by Cuscal), events and ticketing, franchising, trades and professional services. Earlier, agency work at iProspect, Ikon and OMD in Sydney covered brands such as Bankwest, amaysim, Lenovo and Pandora.
An agency runs its channels. A fractional CMO decides which channels you need, writes the brief, holds the agency to the number and replaces it if it misses. Many Sydney clients keep their agency and add me above it. If you only need a plan and a second opinion, a marketing consultant engagement is the lighter option.

For teams that already execute and need senior judgement on tap.
What you get
Best fit: An in-house marketer or agency already doing the work.

For founders without a marketing leader who want a system installed and run.
What you get
Best fit: Businesses between roughly $1M and $20M revenue.
From $1,500 a month. One retainer, either seat, a fraction of what a full-time CMO costs. The exact number depends on scope, and you get it on the first call.
Both seats, first 30 days. Audit, plan, and the first quick wins shipped.
Month one is a paid trial. If the plan and the first changes are not live within 30 days, walk away and I refund the retainer.
Most Australian fractional CMOs quote about $5,000 to $15,000+ a month. My flat retainer starts at $1,500 a month; the Captain seat is priced on scope after the first call.
Usually a planning day each quarter plus leadership meetings and shoot days as needed. Everything else runs remote on your tools.

Yes. Most clients keep their agency and add me above it to set the brief and hold it to the numbers.
Yes. Content Department, my Sydney studio, shoots video and photo to the plan, so the creative for ads and social comes from the same strategy.
Usually within two weeks of the first call. The diagnostic starts the day you share access.
Founder-led businesses turning over roughly $1M to $20M, from trades and construction to SaaS and professional services.
Yes, across Australia and New Zealand, mostly remote. See the fractional CMO page for how that runs.
